Current Fellows

Brandon Bleess, MD., EMT-P was Chief Resident in his Emergency Medicine Residency Program at the University of Illinois at Peoria and was a founding member of its EMS Specialty Track curriculum.  He obtained his bachelor's degree at the University of Illinois-Urbana/Champaign and also worked as a firefighter/EMT prior to medical school.  Dr. Bleess trained with Region 2 RMERT and participated in the relief efforts for Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

  Maia Dorsett, MD., Ph.D was chief Resident in her Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Barnes/Jewish Hospital/Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.  She obtained her Bachelor's degree at the University of Chicago where she was named Student Marshal in 2001, the University's highest academic honor.  She earned her MD/PhD in Molecular Genetics and Genomics at Washington University and is Founder of the Everyday E(B)M Free Open Access Medical Education (FOAMed) blog.
